Recently, some of the FSO board members got the chance to be a part of a really run event with JoAnn Fabric & Craft Stores. It was the launch party for the new TV series called Project Runway: Threads! As the Home Offices for JoAnn are in Hudson, they had more than 600 of their employees and guests come to the Civil Theatre in downtown Akron for drinks, mingling and to watch the first episode....
This past weekend, as many of you probably know, was Art of Contrast 2014 for the Fashion Student Organization. Almost 100 student designers & stylists drew inspiration from 4 cities. Paris, Florence, Hong Kong and New York City served as inspiration. Without Borders was created for the fact that these 4 places are study abroad opportunities for students of the Fashion School.
